32 | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Gareth Lyons

Animator Gareth Lyons joins Alan and Ellen to talk about as many of the incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as they can in an hour. We talk comics, the 1987 cartoon, the 1990 movie, the 2003 series, the 2014 movie, the 2012 series, the action figures, everything basically. Did you know that a lot of the 1987 series was animated in Dublin? Gareth did. Gareth knows a lot about those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He was happy to share it with us.

Gareth animated and directed the upcoming RTÉ series Ends Meet which will be airing this autumn and he’s also running the alternative animation festival HACKfest which is on Aug 26th in A4 Sounds.
