Cumbrian author Barbara was inspired to become a writer after working with family businesses, discovering their multi-generational family business stories. She enjoys writing poetry and fiction based on historical fact that is relevant to today's issues. She is currently a student on Glasgow University's M. Litt in Creative Writing by Distance Learning. Barbara and her Spanish husband Paco live in Spain and in the Yorkshire Dales. They are collaborating on their first exhibition of prose and photography called "Passing Through", due to be shown in 2019. www.integralnextstep.com
