Katy Thornton is a 22 year old student who has been writing for over a decade and is currently studying in a Creative Writing Masters in University College Dublin. Last year she graduated with her BA degree in English Literature. Katy writes prolifically in a range of genres, including poetry, short fiction and is currently focusing on completing her debut novel. She mostly writes in the first person and is extremely character focused in her writing, always attempting to create an innovative and close stream of consciousness narration. Katy is also the Fiction Editor of The HCE Review, a quarterly literary journal.
