Mark Fitzgerald is the author of two books of poetry, Downburst (Cinnamon Press, 2019) and By Way of Dust and Rain(Cinnamon Press, 2010, 2019). His work has appeared in various literary journals (including Santa Clara Review, Slipstream, andCrab Creek Review) and several anthologies (including Scratching Against the Fabricand What Lies Beyond the Frame). He teaches writing and literature at the University of Maryland and was recently awarded a writing fellowship from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
