Poem of the Week |13| Professor Crowbar
Professor Crowbar
is an expert in crowbars,
he’s Head of Crowbar Studies.
As a child they were all
he cared about –
drew picture after picture
and pinned ’em to the walls,
his bedroom a shrine
to the crowbar.
Fell in love with a girl
who liked crowbars too.
He knows nothing about
wrenches, baseball bats
or screwdrivers,
little about war, politics
or violence.
He only knows about
crowbars.
The professor carries one
in his suitcase.
