A Most Wanted Man, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Le Carre, Anton Corbijn, Rachel McAdams, Willem Dafoe, Spy, Thriller, PSH last movie - HeadStuff.orgHeadStuff’s second ever Legend of the Month, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, died very prematurely in February 2014. Most would agree that he was not finished giving us wonderful films, but, he’s gone and he only left bits behind for us.
One of his last roles is in this film called A Most Wanted Man. The incredible espionage thriller from director Anton Corbijn (The American, Control) also stars Rachel McAdams (Midnight in Paris), Willem Dafoe (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Robin Wright (House of Cards). The film is based on the book by John le Carré who also wrote Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Below is the official trailer, it’s due to be released on September 5th and we should have a review of it before then.

Alan Bennett was a stand-up comedian for a while and during that time he toured with David O'Doherty and Maeve Higgins and did well in some competitions and co-ran Schnitzel Comedy Club. Then he started writing fiction and it has been published in several literary magazines and anthologies including 30 Under 30 which Joseph O'Connor chose as one of his books of the year for The Irish Times. He received a Masters with first class honours in creative writing from UCD and a BA in fine art painting from LSAD. Now he's working on getting his novel on, and being in charge of HeadStuff.org.
