#7 | Eat Sleep Rave REPEAL

Glenn and Steph are back after a wee hiatus with a super special bumper episode of The Suss. This week they introduce a new weekly segment called The Suss Rewind *cue tacky Craig David and Artful Dodger track* where they go back and to see if there’s been any updates on a news item that’s been previously discussed. This week Glenn brings it back to the gig economy, as discussed on Episode four with Ruairí Creaney.

Personal Up’s and Down of the week include Katie Hopkins on ket, the tireless work of housing activists in regards to slumlord Paul Howard, underlying media bias in relation to the ongoing Ulster Rugby rape trial and discussion surrounding ticket touting by Seatwave.

This week’s guests are Ellen Coyne, Senior Ireland Editor with The Times Ireland Edition and Craig Connolly from District Magazine, Hanger and campaigner with the newly reinvigorated Give Us The Night Campaign.

Ellen is bringing us up to date with the current news surrounding the 8th Amendment referendum and talking about her investigative reporting surrounding unregulated rogue crisis pregnancy agencies. Carrying on the with the thread of liberalisation, Craig joins The Suss to bring us up date with the state of the Irish nightclub and music industry and how the campaign is lobbying for later nightclub and club opening hours.
