On Episode 5 of The Suss, Steph and Glenn are looking at the current Irish Homeless Crisis. They’re joined in studio with activist and former homeless person Erica Fleming and Mick Caul fellow activist and #MyNameIs campaigner.

Erica shares her personal story of being homeless in Dublin in the 21st Century and her one woman battle with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar plus we discuss Fine Gael’s social housing policies and the normalisation by Varadkar and fellow politicians of homelessness in Dublin.

They also touch on the biggest stories of the week, looking at the blackface controversy involving a darts fan mocking UK shadow home secretary Diane Abbot and the fallout around the Oxford Dictionaries word of the year ‘Youthquake’.
