What is Instagram for you?

Kind of like a creative cork board where I throw up bits and pieces I’ve been working on.
I’m on other portfolio sites where I show my art & design in a structured way but I use Instagram for less formal stuff, sketches and experiments as opposed to finished projects.

Why/when did you decide to start sharing your work on there?

I suppose I started a few years ago at this stage. I had never really shared any of my art on Facebook or Twitter or anything so when I started on Instagram I said ‘this is where I’ll show my creative stuff’ and I’ve just continued on from there.

How would you describe your style?

My style kind of evolves as time goes on. I get sick of doing the same stuff over and over so I like to experiment and try new mediums so my style is always in flux. I suppose a long running theme would be nature and memory, a lot of my work would probably fall under those.

What materials do you use?

Mostly just pencil and watercolour, the odd bit of oil painting if I have the time. For digital stuff like animation, design etc. I use a wacom tablet and the Adobe packages.
