Leon Bracker was born and raised in the environs of Killarney, Co. Kerry. He has been shortlisted for several awards, including the Over the Edge New Writer of the Year, the Bristol Short Story Prize and the RTE Guide/Penguin Short Story Competition. His fiction has been published in literary magazines such as Notes from the Underground, Wordlegs, and The Lonely Crowd.
