Órfhlaith Foyles first novel Belios was published by The Lilliput Press. Her first full poetry collection Red Riding Hoods Dilemma was published by Arlen House and short-listed for the Rupert and Eithne Strong Award in 2011 and chosen as book of the year by Scotland On Sunday newspaper.
Somewhere in Minnesota, (Arlen House, 2011) was her debut short fiction collection, and the title story was first published in Faber and Fabers New Irish Short Stories (2011), edited by Joseph OConnor.
Órfhlaiths second short story collection titled Clemency Browne Dreams of Gin (Arlen House 2014) was chosen as book of the year by The Irish Times newspaper.
Her work has been published in The Dublin Review, The Wales Arts Review, The Manchester Review, New Irish Writing and The Stinging Fly.
Órfhlaith Foyle was born in Africa to Irish parents and now lives in Galway, Ireland.
