Paddy Halligan is the son of a butcher, the grandson of a blacksmith and works himself as a family doctor in Bailieborough.
He writes poems, short stories, and plays music interspersed through his daily routine. He prefers observational poetry and loves to travel
to feed the need. He has been published in Windows anthologies, Boyne Berries, Irish Medical Journal, The Anglo Celt, LitLab publications.
He published a first collection of poetry in 2012, 'Waitress and other poems' through Original Writing.
