Kathleen O Sullivan is a graduate of the University of Limerick where she studied a BA in Literature and History and a Masters Degree in History of the Family. For her MA thesis she wrote about Sybil Connolly and her impact on the Irish fashion industry. Since graduating O Sullivan has written several academic papers on the subject of Sybil Connolly and her position as a prominent female figure not just in the Irish fashion industry but in Irish industry particularly in the 1950s. O Sullivan recently embarked on writing a biography of Sybil Connolly and has recently launched the website sybilconnolly.com. The main archive that she works on is housed at the Hunt Museum in Limerick city. Kathleen lives in Co Tipperary with her family.
